- Eric and I have been married 10 years. Our daughter, Abbey, is 3. We are expecting another daughter in September. We live outside of Missoula, MT where Eric is an application engineer and I am an operations manager.
Abbey Says So
- I asked Abbey what we should name the new baby and she told me "Girl".
- Abbey asked me "Did the baby come?"
- Abbey asked me "Can I hold the baby as soon as she comes?"
- Abbey told me "I'm going to catch the baby when it comes out!"

Is that a picture of a toilet? Funny!
Good post though.
Yep, that's a toilet alright. It was meant to represent running water/indoor plumbing. Hope no one thought it crude but it really IS something I'm thankful for!
Sheri! That's brilliant... I will be doing one of those posts this week! Thanks for the ideas... and I enjoyed the toilet picture. It made me laugh, and we all know we're grateful for it. Let's be honest.
How wonderful. A very interesting mix of the ordinary and the sublime. And yes, we're thankful for them all. Here in Peru, we realize how many wonderful things in life we took for granted in the US, like clean running water, indoor plumbing, clean chapels, traffic rules, and grass.
I love this post. What a great idea.
Add a telephone and the Internet. We finally have both in our apartment. Yippee!!
