One Thing

At work it's common to start most meetings with an ice breaker--a sort of get-to-know-you thing. Recently another manager was telling me about a meeting she attended where the ice breaker was a sort of show-and-tell where each person needed to bring one thing that was a representation of how they became the the person they were today. She told me about the different things people brought. (For example one woman brought in a picture of a child that had passed away.)

She then asked, "What is one thing that represents how you became the person you are today?"

Great question. What would I have brought? How do you show just one thing that has shaped your whole life and made you who you are?

The thing I would share wouldn't be one...

but 2!

I know people don't like tags so don't feel obligated to answer, but I'll still ask: "What is one thing that represents how you became the person you are today?"

How wonderful and how kind. We love you Sheri. You are such a wonderful, conscientious mother, wife, and career woman. We are proud of you. It's an honor to be your parents.

Sheri, I posted a comment and then had to delete it because I was signed in under Scott´s name. Thank you for your wonderful post. If there is one thing (other than my parents, Scott, and my kids) that has influenced my life it would be the Book of Mormon.
