Eric and I decided that if Abbey was so convinced she loved blueberries we should let her try them. So at the grocery store I told her: "We're going on a berry hunt" and we looked all over the store for blueberries. Then on the drive home Abbey and I sang the little song Dora and Boots sing in the episode. Abbey was very excited to try blueberries.
Dora: Goin' on a berry hunt
Boots: Goin' on a berry hunt
Dora: Goin' to find a juicy one!
Boots: Goin' to find a juicy one!
Dora: We're not scared
Boots: We're not scared
Dora: What a beautiful day!
Boots: What a beautiful day!

So did she like them? Judging from the picture, it looks like she did.
Such fun. I'm with Russ; I want to know whether she liked them.
To answer Russ' question: as long as its her idea to eat them she likes them. We bought frozen blueberries because of the cost difference so I think it would be interesting to see if she likes fresh blueberries as much.
What a fun activity! When the snow finally melts off the tundra of Montana, you ought to take her on a real blueberry hunt.
P.S. I love blueberry jam, blueberry syrup, blueberry ice cream, and blueberry PopTarts. I don't like fresh blueberries.
Remind me to send you the Dora DVD that shows Dora getting a new baby sibling (SPOILER ALERTS: it turns out to be twins). Suzanne sent it to Skylar when I was pregnant with Trevor and she loved it.
Cute. Taylor and Jane would love it if I were that creative. Good job mom! How are you feeling?
So cute! For some reason, I only like fresh blueberries. Frozen ones always taste funny to me.
