Tonight after dinner Eric went outside to work on our deck. Abbey, just out of the bath, heard him and asked if she could go outside with him. During the winter Eric often took Abbey outside with him to shovel the walk and so tonight she asked for her boots. And then she asked for her hat. This is her summer hat and she quickly grabbed it and headed for the door. I giggled as I got her ready to go out because I knew how silly she looked--someday she will KILL me for this picture--but I just couldn't discourage her excitement (and frankly I'm too tired to fight with her). I had to get the camera! One thing I love about my beautiful little girl is her excitement for new adventures with her daddy.

Abbey IS an adorable little girl! I laugh at Grace's outfits too, they can be very silly.
