Abbey and I have both been feeling a little under the weather the past several days. This morning at breakfast I didn't realize I was sniffling until Abbey said:
"Mom, there's nothing to be sad about."
What a thoughtful little girl (who is obviously listening to what we're telling her even if it doesn't seem like she is)!

What a sweet little girl Abbey is and so in touch with other people's needs. She's a lot like her mom.
And y' know what? She's right! With a wonderful husband, an adorable daughter, a good job, and a new kitchen (when do we get an update?), what's there to be sad about?
